Responsible exploration from day one
How we work on the ground, with communities and in the boardroom.
Low-impact methods
We use remote data, mapping and geophysics first, so field disturbance is kept to what the evidence justifies.
Rehabilitation
Drill pads and tracks are rehabilitated as programs finish, to the standard set in each approval.
Approvals
All field work runs under the relevant state approvals and environmental conditions.
Legacy sites
Many of our projects include historic workings. Re-assessing them is a chance to leave them better than we found them.
We recognise the Traditional Owners of the lands on which our projects sit, and their continuing connection to Country. We seek agreements with Traditional Owner groups before ground-disturbing work, and we comply with the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) and state Aboriginal cultural heritage laws.
Heritage surveys
Cultural heritage clearance before any ground-disturbing work.
Landholders
Access agreements with farmers and pastoralists, with clear communication on timing and conduct.
Local benefit
Local contractors and suppliers where practical.
Contractor standards
All field contractors work to documented safety management systems.
Remote work
Journey management and communications plans for remote field teams.
Reporting
Incidents and near misses are reported and reviewed by management.
Board oversight
Each listed vehicle will have a board with independent directors and the committees the exchange expects.
Policies
Code of conduct, securities trading, continuous disclosure, whistleblower and anti-bribery policies, ready for each listing.
Related parties
Arrangements between Mondo and its vehicles are documented and disclosed.
We plan to report on sustainability performance as our listed vehicles begin field programs, using a framework appropriate to an exploration company.
These are statements of intent for a company in its first year. We will report actual performance once programs are under way.
