Mount Rankin
High-grade epithermal gold at surface over 800 m, untested at depth, plus a lithium anomaly.
Drummond Basin epithermal gold province
Mount Rankin is a 100%-owned licence in the Drummond Basin, a proven epithermal gold province. Mondo's targeting system generated the project. Two epithermal gold zones are defined at surface, and a newly recognised lithium anomaly adds a second commodity.
Top of the system
Vein textures, alteration and geochemistry point to the shallow level of an epithermal system. The richer core is likely deeper and untouched.
Corrected database
Mondo re-located historic drill collars that had been mapped out of position and corrected the database.
Lithium upside
Rock chips from altered breccia show an anomaly that soil sampling will size.
Geological setting
Low-sulphidation epithermal veins with clay alteration and open-space textures. In these systems grades and widths often improve beneath the top of the system. A major epithermal gold mine in the same basin supports the model.
Drill results, historical estimates, tenement schedules and budgets are available to eligible wholesale investors in the data room, under a confidentiality agreement. Exploration information is historical or preliminary and is not reported under the JORC Code (2012). See the important notice.
How we plan to advance it
The program is staged. Each step is funded only if the previous one justifies it.
IP and resistivity
Map the vein system at depth; rock-property tests show the method can work.
Diamond drilling
Three holes beneath the best shallow results.
Soil sampling
Define the size of the lithium anomaly.
How value is realised
Mount Rankin anchors the planned gold and lithium company.
Listing
Vended into the planned gold and lithium company for equity.
Joint venture or option
A partner funds work to earn an interest.
Sale or royalty
Sold outright, with Mondo keeping a royalty.
