From data to discovery to listing
We move projects up the value curve in four stages, and spend only where the evidence justifies it.
Discover
Our targeting system screens the whole of Australia every month and flags ground that is newly available, under-explored or held by owners who may sell.
Secure
We acquire the best targets early and cheaply, through tenement applications, options, earn-ins and acquisitions.
De-risk
Geologists validate historic data, build 3D models and run focused fieldwork and drilling, aiming for code-compliant resources.
Monetise
We group projects by commodity into listed companies, or create value through sales, joint ventures and royalties.
Large miners have largely stopped grassroots exploration, mid-tier miners focus on their own sites, and many juniors lack the data to find the best ground. Mondo fills that gap.
Every project is chosen from a ranked national list
Mondo owns mineral-targeting databases built over more than 15 years. The system ranks each target on its economic potential, not only its geology.
- 2D and 3D mineral potential models
- Known occurrences and historic mines
- Drill, rock, soil and stream geochemistry
- Monthly tenement status, every state
- Resources net of past production
- Deals, operating costs and infrastructure
- Land-access restrictions
Value equals metal endowment minus development cost, adjusted for access, holding status and cost to acquire. Newly free ground is flagged first.
- Ranked list of targets, free or held
- Monthly review by geologists
- Recommended acquisitions with supporting data
- Exploration plans and budgets
| Capability | What it means for investors |
|---|---|
| Mineral potential mapping, 2D and 3D | Proven, peer-reviewed methods across more than 15 commodities |
| Monthly automated ground screening | Mondo sees newly available ground first and moves before competitors |
| Economic ranking | Targets scored on metal value, development cost, access and acquisition cost |
Old data, new value
Much of Australia's exploration history sits in paper reports, old maps and inconsistent databases. Recovering it properly often reveals value earlier owners missed.
Recover
Locate open-file reports, maps, drill logs and production records.
Re-locate
Re-survey historic drill collars and workings; some are found hundreds of metres from where records placed them.
Validate
Check assays, re-log core where it survives and flag gaps.
Re-model
Build 3D models that show where earlier drilling stopped short.
How Mondo captures value
- Retained equity in every listing vehicle
- Vendor consideration for projects vended into listings
- Project sales, options and joint ventures
- Royalties on projects that leave the group
Why the model is capital-light
- Ground is mostly secured by application, not purchase
- Technical work is engaged as needed through a services agreement
- Major exploration spend is funded inside each listed vehicle
